What’s the deal with staircases? They are all over the place and most of the time you don’t notice. But through a lens they take on a whole new dimension. I wasn’t a staircase-buff before I started doing the social media thing, but now I’m sold. Perhaps it’s what’s outside the frame that is so mesmerizing with pics of stairways. You imagine the thing going one. You can’t ever get the entirety of a staircase in a single photo. It’s always an excerpt. Perhaps that’s a part of the magic in stairs.

Anyway here’s a large proportion of the staircases I’ve shot during the last year or so.
